Norman, Thanks for visiting my blog. In my opinion foil/air-bubble barriers are a poor substitute for conventional insulations like fiberglass. If your attic has R-38 insulation, draft stopping and an insulated access door you are most likely at the cost vs. return threshold for our climate.
